Best/Easiest eBike Rack For Loading/Unloading
Question:
I am getting an electric bike and think it weighs about 70lbs. I don’t want to have to lift it up on the rack. Is there a ramp or something to make this easier? Thx

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 # TH903202 has a ramp so you wont have to lift up your bike! The ramp actually stores inside the rack when you're not using it which is nice! The ramp that is included is about 36 inches but there is another ramp that you can buy that's longer. The longer ramp # TH933402 is 53" and will make loading/unloading your bikes easier as it gives you less of a steep angle. If you're wanting the easiest loading experience, grab the longer ramp..
Before you purchase make sure your bike is 65lbs or less WITHOUT the battery installed. Ebikes are not to be hauled with the battery installed. The EasyFold has a weight limit of 65lbs and is the only bike rack we carry that is designed with a ramp. So, if you're still looking at ebikes, make sure its going to be less than 65lbs before you purchase.
The EasyFold XT 2 is a fantastic rack that I've used many times. I've included some videos of me using it along with a video comparing the two different size ramps. So, check that out!
