Which Plug and Play Wiring Adapter For Brake Controller on 2020 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Hello, I have 2020 Toyota Tacoma with Towing Receiver Hitch, Eng Oil Cooler, Pwr Steering Cooler, 130-Amp Alt, 4/7-Pin Connector, and Trailer Sway Cntrl and would like some advises on towing a single axle trailer camper GVWR 3500 LB. I want to get the Tekonsha P3 brake controller. What custom wiring adapter do I need that will work with my setup? Will the custom wiring adapter is plug and play to my existing towing package mentioned above? I want to avoid any installation of running wires from rear of the truck, then to the hood and back inside to the brake controller. I am very new with the towing system. Please let me know whats my option. Thank you.

The correct plug and play adapter for brake controllers on the 2020 Toyota Tacoma is the # 3031-P, which can be used with the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 and doesn't require any extra wiring since your towing package has all of that covered. The only thing you'll need to connect is a ground wire during the installation, so it's super easy to install.
I've linked a brief installation and a review video for you to have a look at.
