Installation of the Furrion Vision S Camera for Security Feature When Parked
Question:
I see this has a mount so it can be used inside a RV for a security camera. . While in use in the truck the cameras are powered on by the running lights. But when its installed inside the RV as a security camera without the running lights on how does the camera send a signal to the monitor. Thanks

Great question. You will need to provide the camera with a 12v power supply when not connected to your tow vehicle for the security camera option. I've outlined the option which they recommend using a switch directly connected to the trailer battery. You can connect it to both if you want to splice in a diode like Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode - (Qty 1) # RM-790.
