In regards to fifth wheel install kits, you need to match the base rails and frame brackets so for a 2005 Ford F-150 I recommend using the Reese Quick-Install Custom Installation Kit part # RP50081-58. If you already have Reese above bed inboard base rails then you can get away with just the Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # RP50081.
