Receiver Size for Trailer Hitch on 2018 Ford Mustang
Question:
Is there a 2 inch mount receiver out there that would fit on a 2018 Mustang? We already have other cars with 2 inch and bike racks are also 2, so ideally Id like to be able to simply put the rack on either the track or the Mustang.

The only size of trailer hitch receiver for a 2018 Ford Mustang is a Class I hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24928.
This is likely because these cars aren't made for towing and don't have the support needed for a larger hitch, so the 1-1/4 inch is all that is available.
Keep in mind that since this is a Class I hitch, your accessories all need to be Class I compatible as well, including a bike rack. So if your current rack is not Class I compatible (which it sounds like it is not) then you would need a different rack as well, such as the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider # HR200Z.
This rack is Class I compatible and fits both 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch receivers. I have added a link to a video showing it on a 2018 Mustang for you to check out.
