Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock Recommendation
Question:
I have need a deadbolt style trailer coupler lock thats rod that goes through the tongue is at least 6 inch long to allow the locking mechanism to catch on the second or last groove in the shaft. Its styled like the e98888, but I need to make sure that the rod pin is long enough. It says 3 3/8inch long, but after measuring my trailer tongue that doesnt leave much room to connect the lock to the groove. Is it available with a longer shaft?

Since you would need a larger deadbolt style coupler lock than we offer I recommend you get a Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock # FA86-0015-316. This is a high rated surround style lock that should work well as a theft-deterrent for your trailer.
The Coupler Lock # # e98888 that you referenced is the longest deadbolt style at 3-3/8 inches that we offer.
