Will The Thule Force XT XXL Fit Onto The Yakima Overhaul HD Ladder Rack On My 2020 Chevy Colorado?

Greetings! I am interested in getting a large cargo box to transport fishing rods and other gear to and from the beach. Some of these surf rods are right at 84 inches in two pieces. I am trying to decide between this Thule product and the Yakima SkyBox 21 but I am leaning towards Thule because it is lighter but has a greater weight hauling capacity than the Yakima. To me, the implies that the Thule is much more sturdily constructed. I have a Chevy Colorado with a Yakima OverHaul HD bed rack. Will the Thule fit those racks? Also, will the Yakima Skybox fit those racks? You all are great! Any help is gratefully appreciated.

Both the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B and the Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y07337 will fit your Overhaul HD Ladder Rack on your 2020 Chevrolet Colorado. Both will need a crossbar spread of 24-42 inches and will fit bars with a width of 3-1/2 inches wide and a height of 1-11/16 inches. The HD Bars are 3 inches wide and 1-1/2 wide so you're good!

In regards to which box you should get, both are great options! I like to keep the same brand when stacking accessories. So, I would go with the Yakima Skybox 21, but that's just me.
