Locating Brake Stoplight Signal Location on 2012 GMC Terrain

2012 GMC TERRAIN. I CANT FIND THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH IN THE BCM. I TRIED THE WHITE WIRES IN THE BLACK PLUG BUT NO LUCK

Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 on the wire in the # 11 terminal on the black BCM connector, as shown in the diagram I provided. The wire colors can vary during a production run, which is why we typically recommend that folks wire by function, not by wire color.
As an alternate method, you can use a fuse tap like part # F2526 on the CHMSL (center high mounted stop lamp) fuse in the fuse box. The lid of the fuse box should have a legend that will tell you which fuse location is needed.
