Can 5th Wheel Hitch Parts Wear Down and Affect Ride Quality

I've never heard of a 5th wheel hitch using fans, but it is possible for parts on a 5th wheel hitch to wear out over time and need to be replaced just like other equipment on your RV (suspension parts, awning, vent/AC just to name a few). Any parts that wear down can and will affect the performance of the hitch so it's possible that is why you have some chucking.

Pretty much every 5th wheel hitch should have replacement parts available (even new ones like the Reese M5 # RP30928) because this is just the nature of heavy equipment. If you can let me know what 5th wheel hitch you have and what seems to be worn I can check to see if we that part for you.
