Amperage of Trailer Wiring Ciricuits on 2000 Chevy Express 1500 4-Way Connector

Question:

Just installed new 4-lead wiring on van and trailer. With the trailer disconnected, I get 2 volts at the yellow left and green right wires when trail/running lights are on. All other voltages seem proper on the vans side. Is that 2 VDC normal for left and right wires when the trail lights are on?

No. 2 Volts does not sound correct but 2 amps is within the correct range.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118377 is my recommendation for your 2000 Chevy Express 1500 and should give you up to 2.1 Amps on each of the turn/stop circuits and up to 5 amps max at the tail lights (brown wire).
