Unfortunately we do not carry the OEM replacement pigtail for the 1998 Ford F-150. You would have to try a Ford dealership, auto part store, or salvage yard. If they do not or cannot get the replacement you can always cut the plug off and hard wire the ends together. I recommend using Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 12-10 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Yellow - Qty 10 Item # DW05745-10 when connecting the wires. These will protect your connection from corrosion and get your 7 pole plug working again.
If your 7 pole is not working you can always replace it with 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket and Wiring - Vehicle End Item # HM40975-11998. This harness gives you the 7 pole connector and 4 flat connector. Keep in mind it has to be hardwired in as well. It also comes with a mounting bracket if it does not fit into the factory 7 pole location.
