Setup For Blue Ox Patriot Supplemental Braking System on Jeep Wrangler

Question:

I am using a Patriot Braking system. After I hook up the Patriot system, do I need the push start on the accessories mode and is that pushing it twice.

Once the Patriot # BLU37TR has been connected to the brake pedal and plugged in to a constant 12V power source, press the power button. The indicator lights above power and setup will blink in a repeating sequence. Don't do this with the vehicle running, as you need to reset it every time the vehicle is started. Then, Push the “SET-UP” button. The actuator arm will then cycle only once, pumping the break pedal only once,then remain in the ready position.The power light will illuminate green if the brake
is set up properly.
