Measurement of the Receiver Portion of Curt Extender C45796
Question:
I would like to know how long the extension is from where the shank enters the receiver tube to the end of the receiver tube. So the receiver tube itself?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The receiver portion itself of the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers # C45796 is approximately 17 inches; the shank itself is approximately 6 inches.
Then, from pin hole to pin hole the measurement is 18 inches, which is why it is called an 18 inch extension.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt Extender for 2" Receivers # C45796.
