I spoke with my contact at Fulton and they said they do not recommend using a 3/16" diameter wire cable on the Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch - 2,000 lbs # F142403 that you referenced.
Dutton-Lainson stated that the 3/16 inch cable can be used with their Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 2,500 lbs # DL14825 and said that the winch can hold up to 130 feet. Please note that 3/16 inches is the minimum diameter cable they recommend using for this particular winch.
The longest 3/16" diameter wire cable we have is the Hand Winch Cable with Safety Hook 3/16" Diameter x 50' Long - 1,800 lbs. # DL24044.
