Can a Tekonsha Brake Controller Be Used To Replace a Hardwired Curt Brake Controller

Question:

I want to update my controller in a 2011 Chevy Tahoe. The Curt controller has its pigtail wired in directly in the Tahoe. Is there an adapter to go from Curt and replace it with a Tekonsha controller?

I am not aware of any plug-in adapter which will let you use a Tekonsha brake controller with a Curt hardwire harness. Therefore, the Curt plug will need to be cut off and then the Tekonsha one spliced on in order to use a Tekonsha brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller part # TK90160 which is what I recommend.
