Choosing Between the Triple and Quad Lippert SolidSteps for a 2019 Keystone Cougar 5th Wheel

Question:

door width 26inch door height 35 I want to buy the solidstep but I am very nervous to buy the 4 step! Reason just recently on a trip the rv spot was so out of level my standard fold up 3 step almost touched the ground. I am sure at that site the 4 step would most likely be useless, i think.... Now my concern is with the 3 step is the distance from the last step to the ground, we are in our 60s and we want to make sure it is not too high... So please someone soon give me your thoughts on the step that will work for us 100 of the time....

The SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps part # LC791572 for triple and part # LC791574 for quad will both fit and work on level ground. That said, if you find yourself parking on uneven terrain then you'd need more of a buffer which the triple step would provide so that is what I recommend. In regards to the space between the ground and first step, this would vary each time depending on the incline or slope you are parked on so it's not a figure I can provide but it's really a matter of choosing between having a slightly higher first step or not being able to fold the steps down completely therefore inoperable.
