Which Thule Wingbar EVO Bar Length to Use with 2011 Toyota 4Runner
Question:
Hello eTrailer, Will the 60inch square evo bars fit my 2011 4runner? I currently have the older 58inch bars with the 450 feet. I also, have the 450R feet to pair with these if they do fit. I dont like the fact that the 53inch evos are shorter than my current ones. I like this style of bar where I can use the entire top of the bar unlike my older ones which I cannot due to the slight rise/ridge with the older feet where the bar slides though the housing. Thank You,

The problem with going with longer Thule crossbars than what they recommend is that the channels on the bottom of the bars that attach to the feet only run so far on the bottom of the bars so you can't keep extending them without running out of room there. That's why I'd have to recommend you stick with using the 53 inch bars with the part # TH711400 and # TH710401.
