Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2018 BMW X6

I have a solution for you, but the EcoHitch # EH44FR is designed to fit on the 2018 BMW X5 and not the X6 For the 2018 BMW X6 you'll want to use the Curt # 13077, which also has a concealed cross tube design like the EcoHitch. If you're going to be towing with this hitch, you'll need also need a wiring harness, ball mount and hitch ball.

For the wiring harness I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT since it does not require any hard wiring into the vehicle and will help protect against damaging the sensitive electronics system on your BMW. To round out your towing package I recommend using the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which comes with 2 ball mounts with varying rise/drop, 2 hitch balls (1-7/8" and 2"), hitch pin, clip and carrying case. This is a great solution if you're going to be towing different trailers from time to time since it allows you to cover a variety of scenarios all in one kit.
