Parts Needed to Add a Trailer Brake Controller to a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with 4-Way Connector

I have a 2010 dodge Grand caravan, and installed the hitch and electrical I purchased. All good and arrived in a couple of days. Now, I am contemplating buying a used trailer with brakes electric How do I proceed with a 4 prong plug and install a brake controller?

Since you already added a 4-Way trailer connector to your 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan you will just need two additional parts to add a brake controller. First, you will need a 4 and 7 Way installation kit # ETBC7. This provides a 7-Way at the back of the van and the wiring to install a brake controller.
The other part you will need is the brake controller itself. I recommend the Tekonsha P2, # 90885. It is easy to set up and easy to use. I have included a link to the installation details for you to view.
