Best Way to Power AC Fridge in Trailer When Traveling
Question:
Im looking to see if this is possible...I want to put a power invertor in my cargo trailer but, I want to connect it to my truck battery. My reason is I want to power my dorm room refrigerator why traveling until I get to my site where I can hook up shore power. Can I cut the battery clips off and run say 10ga wire to my truck battery with a quick disconnect at the trailer hitch?

The best way to do what you are looking for is to use a smaller inverter like the part # WC3720 ran from a battery installed in your trailer to power the fridge. You'd want to use 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 ran from the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way to the trailer's positive post and you'd be set.
