Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch for 4,700 lb GVWR Camper Trailer
Question:
Got a 2017 jeep grand cherokee with full factory tow package. Want weight distribution hitch for coachman nano 193 BHS camper trailer. Looking at pro series complete package with sway control and 2-5/16inch ball . My sherline tongue scale says empty tounge weight 500 lbs. Factory spec says 370 lbs. Empty trailer factory spec says dry weight 3515 lbs. Question: Do I want the 550 lb tongue weight hitch or the 750 lb tongue weight hitch. Or do you recommend something else. Thank you

For your Coachmen Apex Nano 193BHS, which has a GVWR of 4,700 lbs based on my research, I do highly recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800.
This is a much higher quality system because it's sway control is activated at two points on the brackets as opposed to the lone friction control of the Pro Series, and because the Fastway uses trunnion bars which are much easier to install and do not hang low to the ground causing potential clearance issues. With the Fastway you will need a hitch ball as well, the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out of the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution with 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800.
