Sliding Hitch for 2018 Ford F-150 5.5 ft Bed that Can Provide Turning Clearance
Question:
I am looking for information on fifth wheel hitch options for a 2018 Ford F150 with a 5.5 bed. The camper is a 2021 Artic Wolf by Forest River and Ive been told it will have a 15.5k Rhino box pin box. Please include part numbers and any installation information so I can review to determine if I can complete the transition personally or have it professionally installed. Sorry I do not have a pin box part number at this time, only a picture. Thank you

We have one slide hitch that will give you enough clearance to tow a fifth wheel trailer with a truck like your 2018 Ford F-150 which has such a short bed with the Demco Hijacker AutoSlide part # DM8550040 which can slide 22-1/2 inches automatically. You'll just need a custom fifth wheel rail kit for your truck as well like the Reese # RP50087-58 and you'd be set.
