Does Curt Trailer Wiring for 2015 Ford Edge Work with LED Taillights
Question:
I have a 2015 Ford Edge SE, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56272 says its the connector kit i should use. But the question has to do with the fact that I have LED tail lights on my vehicle. Will they interfere with the workings of the harness? Currenty i had a Tekonsha model harness kit hard wired installed but there is an issue of one of the blinkers not working when the headlights are turned on. If running lights and headlights are OFF everything works as it should. Soon as i turn on the headlights the right side blinker quits working, or rather is very dull blinking to the point it doesnt look like its working. Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

The Curt trailer wiring harness part # C56272 that you referenced is perfectly compatible with LED lights on your vehicle but I suspect you real issue is that you have a weak ground on the trailer wiring which is causing your lights to stop working properly when the running lights or headlights are on as this is a very common issue.
What you can do is try improving the ground of the main trailer wiring harness and you should see the issue go away. Check to make sure the ground wire is connected to a clean metal portion of your trailer frame. You also can run jumper ground wires from the assemblies to the main ground of the trailer and that will help as well.
