Stealth Hitch that Fits 2013 BMW 328i Convertible for Carrying Bike Rack
Question:
Will this hitch SH94VR fit my 2013 BMW 328i CONVERTIBLE? I have already been burned once by another hitch installer who told me they had a hitch that would work, only to later say they were wrong, and that they were unaware of anyone who made a compatible hitch for a BMW convertible. Assuming it will fit: 1. On the receiver, what is the distance from the pin hole to the end of the hitch? I have a Yakima bike rack and the instructions say this distance needs to be at least 1 1/2 inches or the rack wont fit. 2. What is the average assembly time, assuming it will be installed by a professional? Thanks.

Yes the Stealth hitch part # SH94VR is a confirmed fit for your 2013 BMW 328i convertible and would work great with a Yakima bike rack like you mentioned. The hitch pin depth of this is also perfectly compatible with the bike rack as well. You really only have to worry about the pin hole depth dimension on the smaller size OEM hitch primarily from Subaru. The Stealth hitches have a very standard pin hole depth which will work with your bike rack.
Average install time for this is right at 2 hours for an average Joe so for a pro I'd assume around 1.5 hours or less.
