Weight Distribution Hitch and Sway Bars for 2016 Toyota Tacoma Towing a Pontoon Boat

Hello, I am looking for some help on purchasing a weight distribution hitch with sway bars for my 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport Long-Bed 4x4. We are purchasing a Sun Tracker 22foot XP3 pontoon boat with an average package weight of 4975 lbs. The trailer does come with breaks, do you recommend a break controller as well? Thanks!

The photo you sent is a trailer with surge brakes so you won't need to add a traile brake controller if that is what you have. If you have electric trailer brakes, then you will want a controller like # C51180.
The Pole-Tongue Adapter for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems - 14,000 lbs GTW, 1,400 lbs TW # EQ95-01-5950 is likely needed for your trailer as the a-frame is connected to a pole tongue. If you have 27 inches from the ball, then I recommend using this adapter and the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control - 6,000 lbs GTW, 600 lbs TW # EQ37060ET is the correct fit for the weight of your trailer.
