Is Brake Light Relay Needed when Installing Tow Bar Lighting on 2019 Buick Envision
Question:
I am setting up my 2019 AWD Buick Envision to flat tow. Some info I have reviewed says I need a brake circuit disconnect and other info I read does not mention the need for it. Can you tell me if the brake circuit is necessary. I am using the light kit with diodes to connect to the Rv.

When we installed the diode tow bar lighting kit part # RM-15267 on a 2019 Buick Envision we did not use a brake lite relay. If you wanted to watch our entire install of this kit on your vehicle to use as a guide check out the install video link I attached to this page.
