Can a Larger Axle be Used in Place of Smaller One

Question:

Can’t find a small enough axle on your site Can I use your 60” with 48” spring center axle for my 54.5 “ with 44” spring centers? What would have to be modified?

We have an option for you, though a larger axle is not something that you will be able to use because not only will the wheels stick out, but the spring seats will be in the wrong place. The only option we have is theTimbren Axle-Less Suspension System, which are simply bolted or welded so you do not have to worry about finding an axle that meets any specific measurements.

You simply need to find the one that meets the weight requirement you need, such as the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System with Hubs # A20RS545 which has a 2,000 lb capacity so it would be the same as a 2,000 lb axle.

I have added a link to a video review for you as well as a link to our selection of Axle-Less systems.
