Replacement 7-Way Plug for 2009 GMC Sierra 2500
Question:
The 7 way connector from the factory has lost its retaining clip and therefore keeps coming unconnected from the 7 way plug in the bumper. Do you sell retaining clips or another solution, or should i try zip ties or duct tape...

Expert Reply:
There are no retaining clips and zip ties or duct tape may not hold the connector so the best option and what I recommend is to replace the factory 7-way of your 2009 GMC Sierra with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # C55774.
This will plug right into your truck's factory tow package port and give you a permanent solution so you won't have to worry about a loose connection.
