Trasmission Cooler for 2013 Dodge Jorney With 3.6L V6 Engine

Good afternoon, I need to know if it is necessary to attach an additional transmission cooler to my 2013 Dodge Journey awd 3.6 V6., Since I was driving about 20 kms between mountains and the temperature blows to 240 degrees Fahrenheit. Thanks in advance

With your fluid temperatures getting that high I absolutely recommend adding a supplemental transmission cooler to your 2013 Dodge Journey with a 3.6L V6 engine, the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503.

This is a plate-and-fin cooler, which means it uses smaller plates that cover more area than other coolers in order to agitate transmission fluid. Because you cannot over-cool fluids, the rule of thumb with transmission coolers is that size matters so the large 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep Series 8000 is going to give you great cooling efficiency.
