Replacement Grease Caps for a Trailer Hub with 2-1/16 Inch Hub Bore  

Question:

Ive got a trailer for my boat that was Manufactured in Florida in the late 80s. The axle greace caps are a n od size of 2 and 1/16 bore in the outer bearing greace cap recess. No one on this earth seems to be able to source this dimension of greace caps. can you fellows isolate the Voo-Doo of a source for the said size of greace caps?

Instead of measuring the grease cap, measure the hub bore where the grease cap fits. You will need the most accurate measurement as possible so use dial calipers. You may find that you have a 2.047 inch bore so you could use bearing protectors like # BB2047SS.

Or it could slightly larger, 2.080 like # BB2080. These are the 2 most likely sizes if you are coming up with 2-1/16 inches but measuring the hub bore with dial calipers would be the way to go.
