Blue Ox Base Plate Kit and Tow Bar Lighting for 2015 Ford C-Max

Last summer we purchased a used 2016 Navion on a sprinter chassis. The previous owner had set it up to flat tow her Jeep Wrangler. We own a 2015 Ford C-max that wed like to set up to tow. When we purchased the Navion, she also included in the sale: A blue ox tow bar The safety cables for the tow bar A 6 pin wiring cable to connect the coach to the car A brake buddy unit with remote transmitter. I know we need the right base plate for the Cmax, but what else do we need? And what do you recommend for the 2015 Cmax base plate? Im assuming the blue ox one but want to be sure Thanks for your help!

Basically you just need the correct base plate kit for your 2015 Ford C-Max from Blue OX part # BX2639 and then a lighting solution and you'd be set.

For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
