Can Electric Brakes With Parking Brakes for 3,500 lb Axle Work on 3,000 lb Axle
Question:
Looking for electric brakes with cable parking brake for a Ranger boat trailer tandem axle. I’m thinking 3000 lb and 3500 lb axles can use the same brake. Correc? Thanks

We do offer electric brakes with a parking brake for 3,500 lb axles, and so long as you have a 4-bolt mounting flange like part # 4-35 and you have drums that measure 10" diameter and 2-1/4" deep you can use these brakes.
The correct brakes for this are the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Parking Brakes # K23-086-087-00.
If you don't have an adjustment spoon you will also need Brake Adjustment Spoon # W80630.
I have added a link to a video review of the brakes for you to check out as well.
