Boat Trailer Winch recommendation to Replace 1,600 lb Winch
Question:
I need a winch for my boat trailer. Right now there is a 1600lb winch on the trailer. It should include a strap. Attached is a picture of the current trailer winch and a picture of the boat on the trailer. We ramp launch the boat and trailer it to Florida. Can you recommend a new winch? I would prefer something made in the USA.

For an electric boat winch the Dutton Lainson part # DL25700 that you referenced would be a really great USA-made option that would mean no more winch cranking. If you preferred a hand winch the JIF part # 315-W2500D would be a really great option as well. This comes with a strap, has 2 speeds, and will be easy to crank and reliable. See attached review video.
