Hitch Extender to Give Clearance to Fit Bike Rack Past Rear Spare of Jeep Renegade

Question:

Thank you for your email regarding the shipment of the bike rack. I received it yesterday. Today I was able to assemble the unit and place it on my 2019 Jeep Renagade two-door vehicle. It appears that because of the size of the spare tire on the back of the vehicle, along with the back up camera, I need an extender for this bike rack. It fits on the vehicle but there is not enough space between the spare tire and the first set of tire platforms to place a bicycle. Can you recommend the part I need to order from your company to get the appropriate clearance in order to place the inside bicycle on the rack? Thank you,

We have hitch extenders like the part # HE06 which will give you right at an additional 7 inches of clearance which will give you the needed clearance for the rear spare on your 2019 Jeep Wrangler. Keep in mind that using an extender like this does cut the capacity of the hitch it is used in my 50 percent.
