How to Use a 5th Wheel Trailer With a Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 Crew Cab. I recently bought a Curt #c607-604. The intention was to set the truck up for an anderson hitch on the gooseneck ball. With the flip ball and Anderson hitch I could have my truck bed free and clear in short order. Im having trouble finding the Anderson Hitch in stock anywhere. I may need to move to the one that installs on Rails. Is there an add on to Curts C607-604 that will allow for rails to be installed in the bed for standard hitch installation? Not another adapter but an underbed installation. The C607-604 has not been installed yet and no other fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch is on the truck yet.

Great question but unfortunately there is not an add for the Curt Double Lock, Flip and Store Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs Item # C607-604 that allow above bed rails to mount under the bed on the 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500.
To maintain bed access I recommend the Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs Item # AM3200 with the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish Item # C16411-204
The above bed rails will only stick up from the bed about 1" so once the Anderson hitch is removed you can still maintain use of the majority of the bed.
Another option if you did not want the above bed rails is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs Item # DM8550045 which attaches to the flip and store ball on Item # C607-604.
I have added video links to help walk you through the instillation on Item # C607-604 and Item # C16411-204
