Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and Brake Controller for 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Without Tow Package

I own a 2019 Ram Classic V6 Gas WITHOUT FACTORY TOWING PACKAGE, buying a light weight camper 3500 lbs. looking to see what harness to get for the 7 way plug on the rear and what brake controller is recommended. Also are these items plug and play. Thanks

If you do not have any factory trailer wiring on your 2019 Ram 1500 Classic you will need to hardwire in a 4-way and 7-way, using the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected ModuLite with 4-Pole Flat, Hardwire Kit,# 119250KIT for the 4-way and Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.

Then for a simple plug-in trailer brake controller I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.

The Echo will simply plug into the 7-way on the back of your Ram with absolutely no additional wiring necessary. This means no bulky unit in your cab, saving you precious space and the hassle of having to drill under your dash to mount it.
