Can I Use Radial and Bias Tires at the Same Time?
Question:
Can You Run a Radial & Bias Tire on a Trailer at the Same Time?

If this is just a temporary spare, you can but not for long. We recommend running the same type tire on both sides for safe towing because the different types will respond differently on the road. We need each tire on your trailer to handle the same so we don't have issues on the road.
If you decide to go with both bias tires then you need Item # AM3S331.
If you want to go with radials you need Item # AM31991.
I have radials on my trailer! Radials have more flex to them. Radials grip the ground better which makes it more stable, enhances traction and your tires will last longer especially with the heavier loads.
Bias tires are much more stiff which is great for off road and farm use.
I have included a picture to illustrate the difference between the two types and also some videos for you to get more info!
