Blue Brake OEM Brake Controller Connection on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500

Question:

Where is it? Dodge Ram1500 SLT 2WD. Factory 4 pin Is it possible that I do not have the blue connection under the dash? I have taken the dash panels etc. apart and can’t find the blue connection. If it’s not there can I still wire in a brake controller. Pulling my hair out. Please help!

I have attached a video for you showing the plug you need to look for however I believe it is the gray base plug with electrical tape around it and it has a cap on it. Location is similar though. From there you can plug the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3020-P.

If the plug does not exist you can add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 to yur existing 4-way connector and run the wire to your brake controller to connect it to.
