Will The Malone AirFlow2 Fit On My 2011 Subaru Forester & Is The Yakima Skyrise Tent Compatible?
Question:
I am wondering if the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack - Aero Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Aluminum - 50 Long will fit on my 2011 subaru forester and also if I can use it with the Yakima Skyrise tent. It has enough weight capacity but I dont know if the tent will fit on it or not, Thanks.

You found the right rack! Nice! The Malone Airflow2 # MPG215 will work great on your Forester and will be compatible with the Skyrise Tent like part # Y07437
There are some things we need to check before we can know for sure if the Skyrise Tent # Y07437 would work. The SkyRise is compatible with roof racks that install on raised side rails, flush rails or in fixed mounting points. If you have a naked roof you cannot use the tent as it does not support racks with brackets in the door jambs. You need to make sure that the rails are going to need support of some sort. We need to make sure that the distance between the towers and the clamps do not exceed 1" and lastly make sure the maximum height of your crossbars from the ground are no taller than 98".
I have include an image and install video to illustrate.
