Can Weight Distribution be Used for Towing with a Volvo XC90, and Camera System Recommendation

Question:

Howdy! I have a Volvo XC90 and am about to get a flagstaff e pro e20bhs. The Volvo seems to only have one OEM hitch which folds out from under the rear bumper and is somehow dialed into its stability control system. What stabilizer bars can I use with my rig? Do even need them with this hitch/stability control system? Also.. what backup camera should I use with this system?

From what I was able to find it looks like the stability control system on your Volvo XC90 (I'm guessing 2020 model year?) is integrated into the vehicle's operations as well as a self-leveling system. We do have aftermarket trailer hitch options available but they don't fold out of the way like the OEM one you're looking at.

Because the vehicle already has the stability control system the owner's manual didn't say anything regarding a weight distribution (WD) or sway control system. The trailer hitches we have to offer aren't compatible with WD systems so that leads me to believe that you'll be just fine without one as long as your Forest River Explore Flagstaff E-Pro E20BHS is within the towing weight rating of your specific vehicle.

As far as backup camera foes I recommend using the Furrion Vision S with the 5" monitor. This kit is available with 1 camera # FOS05TASF or 3 cameras # FCE48TASL-05 depending on what you're wanting out of a camera system. This will fit directly with any camera mounting plates that might already exist on your trailer.

I have attached some review videos for you to check out.
