2012 Ford F150 Supercrew Thule Roof Rack Fit How Should it Fit

Question:

I have this now mounted on my truck with Thule wing bars. It is causing the front doors to not close fully. They is possibly 1/8 inch still out. This is causing water to get in and you can hear wind noise at higher speed. The rear doors seem fine though. HELP please!

I have not had this issue in the past with any Thule roof rack like the Thule Rapid Traverse WingBar Evo Roof Rack in the past. They do extensive testing on their kits to ensure this does not happen. To ensue you have the right clips match them up. you are looking for part # THKIT1521.

If you do in fact have the correct fit the next step is to check the positioning on the roof rack and make sure you have followed the instruction exactly. There will be a specific position this crossbar needs to be placed to ensure a proper fit.

I have linked a video and the instructions if you do not still have them to check the installation to ensure it is exactly right.
