Recommended Solution for Hitch Dragging Over Speed Bumps on 2016 Toyota Sienna

Question:

Hi, I am debating the quick fix of getting a roller skid wheel for my tow hitch vs Tibren suspension enhancement system for our 2016 Toyota Sienna AWD. We just had a tow hitch recently installed and the electrical outlet sits really low when we have our pop-u camper hooked up. It bottoms out on speed bumps and when we go over the threshold at the end of our driveway. I realize the timbrens will help with handling and wear and tear of the suspension system, but will it provided the needed lift to make sure the outlet does not bottom out on the pavement? The video says it only gains a half an inch when loaded. Not sure if that is sufficient. Thanks for your guidance.

I have a solution for you, but the Timbren # TTORSEN04 are not going to significantly lift the rear end of your vehicle and really aren't intended for this purpose. These are designed for when you're towing a camper that has a heavier tongue weight causing sag on the rear end when it's being towed and none of the available suspension enhancements for your 2016 Toyota Sienna will provide a real significant lift you're seeking.

With that said, you can use the Ultra Fab # UF48-979020 skid wheel on your hitch to help keep the hitch from bottoming out like you're experiencing and it's definitely going to be a more cost effective solution.
