Reese Goose Box 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter for Lippert 1116 OEM Pin Box
Question:
I currently have a LIPP1116 and want to go to Reese goose box. Do I need the spacer or is there one that I dont need to use it? Also are the chains sold separately? Also I have heard issues with the Gen 1 air bag leaking....is this the Gen 2 without that issue?

The Reese # RP94716-61301 Goose Box is the proper replacement for your Lippert 1116 OEM pin box. You would indeed need to use the included spacer plates as this is the only Goose Box model offered that will replace your existing pin box.
The fault with the Gen 1 Goose Box was the fill system/manifold, not the bag itself. The redesign has solved the problem which caused a few of the Gen 1 units to leak.
