Can Moon Roof on 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Open with Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack Installed

Will I be able to open my moon roof as normal when these are installed? thanks

Yes, you will have enough clearance to open the moon roof on your 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe with the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack installed. We actually had the opportunity to test this out on a 2019 Santa Fe which I am linking for you to check out. The complete list of parts needed for this roof rack includes the following:

47" WingBar Evo Crossbars - Black # TH711220 or Silver # TH711200
Rapid Podium Feet - # TH460R
Fit Kit - # THKIT4029

Please note that Thule does not recommend opening your moon roof with this system installed. I can't imagine that it would affect the strength of the roof rack, but I can say that even though these are aero-style bars that do a great job at cutting down on wind noise and drag, if you were to open up your moon roof while driving then it would mess with those dynamics.

It's also worth noting that you need to make sure you'll have enough clearance prior to opening up the roof with accessories installed. For the most part you should be good but if you have something that sits well below the bars just be mindful of that.
