Base Plates and Flat Towing Equipment for 2011 Mini Cooper

Hello, Purchasing a 2011 Mini Cooper. Will you have the plate to attach to Blue Ox that will fit this vehicle? Thanks

We sure do. The Blue Ox base plate kit, part # BX1307 would work with a Blue Ox tow bar like the Alpha 2, part # BX7380 and is compatible with the Base Hardtop, S, Convertible and S Convertible models.
Manual transmission equipped Mini Cooper models are capable of being flat towed, but if you have an automatic transmission you'll need to use a tow dolly like # RM-2050-1.
If you have the manual transmission, you'll need a wiring harness like # RM-15267, a supplemental braking system like the easy to use Roadmaster Invisibrake # RM-8700 along with the # RM-751440 stoplight switch. You also might need a high/low adapter if the height difference between the base plates and the hitch on the motorhome is greater than 3 inches.
