Replacement 4 and 7-Way Trailer Connector for 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
My 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee came with a factory 7pin as well as a 4 way. The 7pin hooked to my new trailer only works the drivers side lights. How do I change the factory pigtail out?

The 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket part # HM40975-11998 can be used to replace both the trailer connector and pigtail on a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In regards to installation, you'd simply need to remove the old trailer connector by cutting off the plug and then you can hardwire the above option in.
