What Crossbar System do you Recommend for my 2016 Subaru Outback to use A Load Assist Kayak Carrier

Were interested in purchasing a load assist kayak carriers for our 2016 Subaru Outback, but the installation video we watched referenced needing several inches of bar extending beyond the rack. The Subaru roof rack system is flush with actually locks within the towers or posts. Is there an adapter available that will allow us to install a lift assist unit on the Subaru Outback?

We have a solution but there is no way of adding and adapter to solve the issue. The requirement of the extra overhang is imperative to the support needed for the system to work.

We can however add the rack you need to your 2016 Subaru Outback Sport. Since you have the factory rails I believe this means that you have the flush rails that run front to back on your roof rather than raise rails since the crossbars can be hidden in the flush rails when not deployed. If this is incorrect please let me know.
