Quality Trailer Tires for my 22' Pontoon Boat

Question:

hello what is a very good tire for a 22 foot pontoon boat trailer. it has 4 tires. I drive on pavement for about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. then on gravel roads for about 3-15 miles to the lake. I pull the boat with a tahoe and the boat is a little bit of weight, not sure just how much. thank you.

We can get you what you need! I see you had a look at the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D
part # AM10210 it has a capacity of 1,650 lbs. so each axle would support 3300 lbs. Of the options available in this size I really like it. I also really like the Westlake ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C part # LHWL101 but it has a lighter 1,360 lbs. per tire capacity for an axle total of 2727 lbs.

Not knowing what your axle set up is whether it is a double or triple axle and not knowing the model of your boat it is tough for me to tell you exactly what option to choose. If you can give me some more information on your set up and confirm the tire size we are talking about I can be more helpful.
