Completing Under Hood Brake Controller Wiring on 2012 Chevy Silverado

What conections do I have to make under the hood to get my brake controller working . 2012 silverado

You will need to connect the power wire to the brake controller as well as the 12-volt accessory power circuit that feeds the 7-way connector.

Remove the cover from the fuse box under the hood, and locate the red wire that has a ring terminal on it that is located between the fuse box and the fender. This wire connects to the left hand power post on the front of the fuse box. The wire for the accessory power circuit is located under the master cylinder. It is a red wire, and will also have a ring terminal on the end of it. The ring terminal will connect to the right hand power stud on the front of the fuse box.
