Do Scissor Stabilizer Jacks Have to Attach to RV Frame to Function

Question:

I own a 43 foot fifth wheel and was curious if I could add some stabilizer jacks to it to cut down on some wiggle we have. I have two children that are 5 and 3 so I’m sure you know they can make the camper move! Would I be able use some scissor jacks under the frame without bolting them on or is this a bad idea? Again, I’m not using them to lift or level the camper. Just stabilizing. I’m thinking after I get my camper level I could just install them and then take them out before I move it. Any insight would be great! And if you could point me in the right direction on which jacks you would recommend that would be great too! Thanks!

Without bolting or welding down the scissor jacks # TJSCHD-24-4 they'd still do a decent job stabilizing the camper but considering how much more convenient they are when installed on the trailer I'd recommend you go that route. Would also prevent the jacks from slipping possibly.
